Former The Only Way Is Essexstar Mick Norcross has died aged 57.
The Essex businessman rose to fame as the owner of the Sugar Hut nightclub on the hit ITV2 series. His son Kirk was also a regular on the early seasons of the reality show.
Police were on Thursday evening called to his house, where he was pronounced dead by emergency services.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We were called to an address in Bulphan shortly before 3.15pm on Thursday 21 January.
“Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
A source told OK: 'There were lots of ambulances outside [Mick’s] house.'
Norcross last tweeted this morning. He wrote: “At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough.” The message has been liked thousands of times.

Elliott Wright, who appeared on the reality show between until 2017, posted a broken heart emoji - as did Mario Falcone who was on the show until 2018.

Adam Brooks, who said he was a friend of the star, wrote: “I am absolutely gutted to hear this news,my business rival in the 00’s, but such a well respected gentleman in the industry, shared many friends with Mick. Thoughts to his family, I’m truly very saddened, a good man.”
Mick’s friend and boxing promoter Eddie Hearn tweeted: “A gentleman – god bless.”
As well as Kirk, 32, Norcross had three other children - Mason, Daniel and daughter Hollie. He had three grandchildren.

Norcross made his TOWIE debut in 2011 on season two of the series where he was introduced as the owner of Sugar Hut - a nightclub in Brentwood. He starred in 53 episodes before leaving the show.

In 2013, he left the show saying he feared reality television was denting the reputation of his club. He told the Sun: 'My club is an upmarket venue where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled. All these rows they keep filming don’t show the club in a good light and I’m worried it’s putting people off coming, which is the last thing I want.’
